Language, history and curiosities in games.
Why don’t we have a dice museum somewhere?
When you come right down to it, few ideas are strong enough to last countless millennia. Walking upright. Hunting. Gathering. Dice.
I wish people would come and play dice on my grave; I loved that sound so much.
When we organise workshops in primary schools, we often notice that some 6 or 7 year-olds have never seen a die up close. It’s concerning, but it’s a fact. So we show them.
A die that falls off the table is no less random.
