One thing to remember in comparisons to movies and music is that even if you don’t “get it”, you can still watch a movie and listen to music. Lack of understanding does not prevent you from consuming the experience. If you don’t understand the rules of a game, then you cannot play the game at all. If it can’t be played, is it even a game?
